To: Other Team Managers

My name is Willy Arundel and I have attended more than 10 tournaments and events at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool between Tournaments and Camps. I have Chaperoned/Managed during almost every visit to this facility. My experience with the Greek Church Meal Plan has been fantastic.

I have done both options where, I also have done the trips to Subway, Romeo's, Burger King, Wendy's, Chinese Buffet, China Town and White Spot. From a Team Managers perspective, I have told all of my boys for this tournament that they I am not shuffling them between the various restaurants in town but am happy to walk them across to the Greek Dining Hall.

The food is Fresh and plentiful. Water Polo players expend an enormous amount of energy and we often laugh on trips that we are taking the boys to a Feeding Trough as opposed to a restaurant. My favourite is the Mongolie Grill All you can Eat at Federal Way in Seattle or in Oregon.

I have found that you could save approximately $15 over the course of the weekend if you purchased budget conscious meals at Subway, Wendy's and Burger King for the players who are not big eaters, The big eaters that I have traveled with spend more than at the Greek Church. The biggest difference in in the level of Stress for me as Team Manager, every meal is a short walk from the pool and their are no waitresses that are displeased taking our individual orders and individual bills. It is just a simple grab a plate and a glass and sit down at your table and wait for the buffet to be served with excellent health food.

Thanks for your time.
